I received my light therapy lamp a few weeks ago and would have a review ready…… if I woke up early enough to spend some time in front of it. It has been much easier to hit the snooze button and put off starting the day as long as possible.
The idea is that I’ll wake up a good half hour earlier so I’ll have enough time to sit in front of the lamp and either study or relax before I start my day. I haven’t had the energy or determination to make it happen despite knowing that this might relieve some of my symptoms.
This morning I made the decision to get back at it. I plopped down in my armchair, turned the light on and pulled out my next reading assignment. My beloved cat Tubs came over to sit on the couch next to me. I noticed this and got the idea to pull him over to my lap on the chair as it was clear he wanted to be close and he could squeeze in if he wanted to. It was great.
I don’t get to see him enough and as silly as it seems spending fifteen minutes with my not-so-little buddy set my day off in such a positive way. Sure, he won’t want to lay in my lap every morning…. lucky for me there are two other cats that can step in when that happens. 🙂
In a few weeks when I’ve used the lamp more regularly I will be posting a review. If you’re curious what one I got it is the NatureBright SunTouch Plus Light & Ion Therapy Lamp.
P.S. I FAILED AT GETTING THIS PHOTO TO SIZE RIGHT WITHOUT THIS STUPID WHITE BOX SO THE WHITE BOX IN THE LOWER RIGHT CORNER WILL LIVE THERE FOREVER.
